The
personal viewer was developed as a covert device that can
be worn on the head like a normal pair of sunglasses. The
personal viewer contains a video monitor located on the
inside of the right sunglass lens as well as a micro-video
camera. The camera captures the environment in real-time
and is simultaneously projected back to the right eye in
proper alignment. This enables the augmented experience
to truly overlay itself upon reality, as the left and right
eye combine the virtual image with the environment seamlessly.
The personal viewer is a private device. Not only can others
not see what your seeing but in most cases they cannot tell
that you are wearing anything other than a normal pair of
