The Databank describes the integration of two increasingly understandable modes of information gathering - the digital and the physical - to reveal an architecture that draws from and is inspired by our digital realities. The (con)fusion of these two polar situations results in mediated reality whereby digital objects and/or surfaces are layered upon the actual physical environment in real-time with the use of the head mounted display (Databank Personal Viewer) or the mobile flat panel monitor (Databank Window Viewer).
