104 king st. is conceived to enhance the character of the site by creating new relationships and a new "street". These new relationships promote interaction while allowing for spaces of privacy. By exploring issues of new/old and individual/communal, the designed intervention attempts to create a hybrid construct that is neither new nor old; individual nor communal.
